1. Acceptance

By using Mint Soup Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. How Mint Soup provides services; platform role

Mint Soup LLC (or the entity operating this site) is a local service business that performs certain work directly— including, prominently, junk removal and related hauling in areas we serve (such as East Orange, New Jersey)—and is also the operator of an online booking platform for scheduling, payments, verification, reviews, and job proof.

Depending on the booking, the service may be performed by Mint Soup (our crews or authorized representatives) or by independent third-party providers who use the platform to find and fulfill jobs. The checkout and booking flow will reflect who is responsible for performing the work for that specific job. Independent providers remain responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and execution of work they perform under their own business, subject to applicable law and any agreement between you and that provider.

Mint Soup may verify identity, display profiles and reviews, and facilitate payments; technology and payment facilitation do not by themselves make Mint Soup the employer of independent providers. Nothing in these terms creates an agency, partnership, or employment relationship between Mint Soup and customers, or between Mint Soup and independent providers, except as expressly stated for payment facilitation.

Accurate listings. You must not misrepresent who will perform the work, pricing, licensing, or insurance in profiles, ads, or directory listings (including Google Business Profile). Marketing should reflect that Mint Soup both performs select services directly and connects customers with independent providers where applicable.

3. Client terms

Bookings are confirmed after payment authorization and provider acceptance. You must provide accurate contact and location details. Cancellation and refund rules apply as stated at booking and in our refund policy.

4. Provider terms

Providers must meet verification requirements, start and complete jobs in line with booking terms, and upload job proof when required. Providers acknowledge they are independent businesses or contractors responsible for their work product, taxes, insurance, and licenses where required. Late starts may be subject to platform policies. Payments are processed via Stripe according to our payout terms.

5. Refunds and disputes

Refunds follow our platform and Stripe policies. Unused or cancelled bookings may be refunded in line with our expiry and cancellation rules. Disputes should be raised through the platform or support.

6. Content and conduct

You must not post illegal, misleading, or offensive content. We may use reviews and proof photos as part of site content in line with our privacy policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, for claims arising solely from services performed by independent third-party providers, Mint Soup’s liability is limited to its role as a platform and software provider, and such claims are primarily between the customer and the provider, except where applicable law holds the platform liable.

For services performed directly by Mint Soup, liability is governed by applicable law and any service-specific terms presented at booking. In all cases, Mint Soup’s aggregate liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
